ON DECK THIS WEEK

Have you truly given a thought to this upcoming school year and how you plan to take a stand for God through the entire year?  Are there things that seem to trip you up each and every year?  Is it difficult for you to keep that stand for God every day, every week, and every month for an entire school year?  This week we're going to talk about laying down a plan of attack and setting some reachable goals that can help you make this the school year of change, of miracles, and taking a stand for God like you've never done before.  There will also be jamming worship, crazy ice breakers, and a multi-media frenzy.  Everything begins at 7:00PM.

YOUTH CONVENTION

October 7,8,9 we will be heading to Youth Convention 2010 in Salem, OR.  The cost is $120 per youth.  $55 of the $120 is due Monday, September 13.  The cost includes registration, food, and gas.  There are information packets available.  For more information contact Pastor Bob at the church.

SPEED THE LIGHT

If, at your home, you struggle with language, negativity, lack of faith, complaining, sarcasm, talking back, etc., we have a special Speed the Light can waiting for you.  We have a boys vs. girls change drive taking place as well.  If the boys win we get to make one of the female youth staff into a human sundae.  If the girls win they get to make Pastor Bob into a human sundae.  The person who raises the most for Speed The Light will win a pair of $200 head phones with a microphone prepared to work on your video game systems as well. We are also doing a youth push the envelope project to help raise money for our Assemblies of God missionaries.  For all the information concerning all of our Speed The Light missions projects give Pastor Bob a call at the church.
